Chaque année, la musique est de sortie avec son lot de cérémonies. Avec les MTV Music Awards et les BET Awards (dans lesquels MHD et Booba seront sélectionnés), les Billboards Music Awards s’affichent comme un des évènements déterminants de la saison. De quoi couronner ce qui se fait de mieux outre-Atlantique, de la country jusqu’au hip hop. Cela tombe bien, aujourd’hui c’est cette deuxième catégorie qui nous intéresse. Place donc au palmarès urbain de ce cru 2017, où un Canadien apparaît comme le grand gagnant…

Drake brise le record d’Adele !
Adele, voilà un poids lourd de l’industrie du disque. Une chanteuse capable de rassembler et ainsi de se placer tout en haut de la pyramide des charts. Cette dernière avait établi un record en s’adjugeant 12 Billboard Music Awards lors d’une même cérémonie. Cependant, en 2017, Drake est passé par là ! Hier soir à Las Vegas, Drizzy a donc battu la britannique en repartant avec pas moins de 13 trophées sous le bras, dont ceux de meilleur artiste de l’année, artiste le plus écouté en streaming et bien d’autres…
De quoi classer le rappeur comme le grand bonhomme de l’année passée, qui aura notamment tout cassé avec son album « Views ». Autre star à s’être distinguée, Beyoncé. La belle a en effet signé une deuxième place sur le podium avec tout de même 5 récompenses !
