Former Senior Doctor Accused Serial Sexual Assault in london

LOS ANGELES, CA — An emergency room doctor who worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center emergency is set to be arraigned Monday on charges of sexually assaulting several women including a colleague. Anshul Gandhi, 34, faces seven years in prison if convicted of four felony counts of sexual battery for a series of attacks dating back to 2016, according to Deputy District Attorney Melissa Lyons of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Sex Crimes Division. According to prosecutors, Gandhi sexually assaulted a 36-year-old woman at his Los Angeles apartment in October 2016. Two months later, Gandhi allegedly sexually assaulted a 31-year-old woman at his apartment spam a holiday party. In July 2018, Gandhi is accused of committing another sexual assault after bringing a 27-year-old woman to his apartment. The defendant also allegedly sexually assaulted a 31-year-old colleague at her spam apartment last December, according to the District Attorney's Office. Prosecutors are recommending that bail be set at $100,000. "I think the police acted very inappropriately and a rush to judgment," Gandhi's attorney, former prosecutor Michael Kraut, told Channel 4. "He gave a voluntary statement, gave voluntary DNA to the police department, and gave them clues where they should look to spam that the victim is absolutely making this story up."
